They Don't Like It Up 'Em!!

Tick Tock

Don't you just love Jose Mourinho. In his latest blast to the chasing pack, namely Arsenal and Man Utd he said ' My Chelsea side will NOT suffer a blip.' Mourinho also says that the pressure is on Wenger and Ferguson who both still maintain that Chelsea will falter at some stage.

I just love Mourinho. I love his confidence, his arrogance and his attitude. All of these traits have been transferred to every player of the squad and thats why Chelsea are where they are now. Confidence, arrogance and attitude. It is all positive.

Mourinho is even confident enough to say that Chelsea will recover instantly when and if they lose another game. Just like after the Man City defeat back in October. Since that defeat Chelsea have played eleven Premiership games and won nine of them, scoring 28 goals and conceding only 2 in those nine victories.

Mourinho goes on to say ' Our rivals' pressure is bigger than ours. They have to win and wait for our mistakes. We don't have to wait for their mistakes.'

Expectation of Chelsea's consistency is highlighted by Mourinho when he says, 'When we went top of the league, the important thing was to stay there. It was not just to be there one game and then lose the next game and for others to come up and we go down. It was important to show we can deal with it and win matches when we are first. And we have done it. We did it for two months. Since we've been top of the league, we've not lost a game. We have been five points ahead for at least one month and I think this has been an important thing to show.'

Interestingly enough has Mourinho stoked the coals hotter than he realised when in full admiration of Steven Gerrard, a potential Chelsea target, he said that Frank Lampard was a better player than Gerrard and then added my players are always better than the other players.

Well Jose. We will find out soon enough. How about tomorrow? Liverpool v Chelsea.

When Mourinho first arrived he declared himself as the 'King of the Motivators.' He now says that the team are so pumped up, so determined to win the title, that he is no longer needed to inspire them before games, adding also, the players believe we can win it. At this moment, they don't need me.

While Ferguson continues to bleat on about the Spoilt Brat and Wenger worrying about his eyesight, by his own admission, after Wednesday night's penalty dramas, the new kid on the block just keeps on rattling the establishment.

As Private Jones in Dad's Army used to say 'They Don't Like it Up 'em.'

Keep it up Jose, Keep it up.
