Are Everton becoming a credible threat to Arsenal's reign of Premiership Champions? After beating Liverpool 1-0 in the early kick off, it looks like this could be a strong possibility.
Everton have already won more games at this stage of the season than they did throughout the whole of last season (eleven). They currently sit second in the table, three points behind leaders Chelsea and a point in front of Arsenal and Everton are twelve points clear of the 'Pool. What a remarkable turn around for David Moyes since he came from Preston and what a transformation since Everton sold Wayne Rooney to Man Ure. Is there something in the make up of Rooney that Everton DO NOT miss since he left? Although the fans were crestfallen to see their idol leave, judging by the noise and atmospehere at Goodison Park, it looks like Rooney has been well and truly forgotten. Remember 'The Arse' whipped Evertons butts on the opening day of the season and they have also been beaten by Chelsea, but having said that although they have been knocked down they have showed a remarkable sense of BOUNCEBACKABILITY. Forget about the Premiership title race only involving three clubs: Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Ure. There are three clubs in it: Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton. Until Man Ure get to one or two points behind the leaders (whoever they maybe and at whatever point) they will be included. But a Chelsea victory tomorrow and a Man Ure defeat on Monday will put Man Ure twelve points behind. Twelve points has to be TOO much for any team and that includes Man Ure.
