No you are not dreaming. Chelsea are top of the Premiership, five points clear of 'The Arse' and 4/6 favs to lift the Premiership. Who would have thought that only a few weeks ago when Chelsea were five points behind 'The Arse' that the positions and standings would be reversed.
Believe me. Chelsea are here to stay and the 50 year old dream of winning the title edges nearer and nearer as each day and game goes by in this momentous season. I know we have only played 15 games and there are 23 to go, but this Chelsea, under JM, is a different Chelsea. For a start we have Super JT, our captain who not so long ago was in trouble with the law, dropped from the U21s and basically no further than possibly leaving Chelsea through the back door. JT is an inspiration to us all. Got back up, dusted himself down and just got on with it. Probably the best centre half in the country, leading by example and has the younger players at the club looking up to him in total and complete awe. Not long ago, JT was being looked after by Wisey, Ruud, Luca - now JT is doing the looking after. Captain, solid, dependable. Mr Chelsea and no wonder JM says JT is worth every coin of his new contract. Chelsea teams of the past flattered to deceive. Rich promises turned into damp squids. This Chelsea is looking every part of realising the dream of lifting the Premiership for the first time in 50 years. Keep looking at the table, cos we are there to stay. Only sixteen days ago we went off the Craven Cottage and came away with a 4-1 win. Foolham's fortunes are got worse since then, the 2-0 defeat against Blackburn no doubt proves that. But this is the Cup (albeit the Carling Cup), 90 minutes from a semi-final. Chelsea will have to on their guard as no doubt Foolham will be hurting bad. Doubt very much that Foolham will fancy playing us again so soon, even so it is still the Cup and a local derby where pride will be at stake and Foolham will have a lot to prove not only to themselves but to their fans and Craven Cottage will be rocking to the rafters. 1-0, 4-1, 2-1 not bothered, I will just settle for a win. Get this one out the way and then start to look forward to the game against The Toon, Noocastle, Barcodes, Geordies. I expect JM will rest some of the key players for tomorrow. Drogba may get a start (which he does need) and also Showboat Joe, Bridgey, Kezman and Parker could well get a look in. King Carlo could step in for his 4th game this season and hopefully his 4th clean sheet. Big up to Franco. Scored the winner in Cagliari's win over Lazio yesterday, which puts Cagliari 4th in Serie A.
