Despite the blip suffered on Saturday Chelsea should be high in confidence, already though to the last sixteen, and having the mental and psychological advantage over PSG who Chelsea convincingly thrashed in Paris 3-0 back in September.
It will be interesting to see what kind of team JM decides to pick. Will he pick the same team that started against Bolton on Saturday? The same team given another chance to rid the demons, mistakes and errors of the Bolton game, or will the Great One save a few players for the Charlton game which at this moment appears now to be more the important game. PSG for your information could only draw 0-0 with Lyon at the weekend and by all accounts it was a bit of a fiery affair. PSG had defender Mario Yepes sent off and PSG's coach Vahid Halilhidzic and assistant Mario Baronchelli were sent to the stands after squaring up to their Lyon opposites. I did like JM comments in the post match press conference after the Bolton game - saying What do you want me to do. Shoot the Ball? - Loved it. Obviously forgetting the possibility of playing Bolton in the FA Cup, JM also added 'that he is happy that he only has to play Bolton one more time.' Well Great One, mark 30th April 2005 for that one. Hopefully the title will be tied up by then (wishful thinking, well you never know). I was only one player out in my prediction for Saturday's team - Smertin was injured. I going to put my head on the block and predict that the team will be the same that started Saturday, with the exception of Scottie Parker who the fans dearly love, replacing either 'The Mak' or Tiago (who hates The Arsenal). On to other things. I am trying to get information on the outcome of the 2nd fans forum that was held on Saturday. The Petition is still open. Please email me at abis15@aol.com if you want your name added to it. Please email anyway, with comments, suggestions, etc - abis15@aol.com or post your thoughts on the message board and lets have a good old bit of Brit banter. One last prediction. I think the attendance tomorrow could fall way below 30,000. Hope not! COME ON CHELSEA!
