Chelsea 1-2 Man City: It's All About Everybody Else!!

DISGRACE

Quote (as appeared here yesterday): ‘Chelsea simply cannot defend as they did against Rubin Kazan in Russia on Thursday night otherwise City will tear us apart with the likes of Aguero, Silva (if fit) and Tevez. Allow Toure to dominate and win the midfield battle and Chelsea will be in for a torrid time.’

Quote (as appeared here yesterday): ‘It is widespread news/rumour that Fatty is preparing to drop ‘Captain, Leader, Legend, One England Captain,’ JT and Super Frankie ‘200 goal’ Lampard from the starting line-up….’

Forty-Seven minutes in. Aguero spins off Ivanovic and plants a looping header over the static Cech into the net via the far post, Chelsea go 2-0 down at our second home, our proud FA Cup record of remaining unbeaten in open play (since being beaten by Barnsley five years ago ) looking in tatters and what does Fatty do?

NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Fatty waits for almost 20 minutes before making his first change, bringing on Torres for Mikel (who had an absolute shocker.. FA Cup son, not Europa League) and although the change had an immediate impact, it was too little too late.

Chels1-2ManCity2

He had no clue how to react.

He had no clue how to change things.

He simply had no clue!!

He can go on all he likes about Kompany’s undressing of Torres deep inside City’s penalty area.

(Chris Foy and his assistants had a shocker not just for missing the stonewall penalty, but for Aguero’s shocking two-footed lunge down the back of David Luiz as he was acrobatically tumbling to the ground in a touchline tussle.)

That said, Fatty needs to take a long hard look at himself and admit he made mistakes, rather than shift the blame of his inadequacies to others and to those who lend an ear and hang on every word to his ramblings.

In all the years I have been aware of Fatty’s existence, now and at his time at Liverpool, I have never seen him raise his hands up and say, ‘I have made mistakes.’

It is all about everybody else!!

In six days time, Fatty returns to his beloved Anfield.

PLEASE LEAVE HIM THERE!!

WTF???

Your team has bought (purchased) 10 years of success, not deserving an inch of credit as a club. You hold up one of Englands most despised captains as a hero and complain at losing a semi-final that 10 years ago would have been a 10 season high.

Your memory is shorter than Chesleas waiting list for season tickets.

Yep I know bought means purchased, also means buy or to buy as well
