The biggest rumour circling amongst Chelsea fans on message boards, blogs, unofficial sites is the 'impending' transfer of Ramires the Brazilian from Portuguese giants Benfica. Like the boss 'Anco' I won't believe it until I see it not only with Ramires but any other player coming to the Home of Football, the Home of the Champions and the Home of the Double Winners.
I have certain sources that I believe when a rumour is circulating and there are many sources who I dismiss at the drop of a hat but my believeable sources are saying 'nothing' at the time of writing, but as you know stories and rumours in football can change and deals can be completed in seconds.
'Anco' said regarding Ramires, "I don't know, I will speak about Ramires when Ramires will be a Chelsea player. Until now he is not a Chelsea player, we hope, but until now nothing is decided."
There is no clear indication of what type of team will start tonight's friendly and the Community Shield against Man Utd on Sunday although 'Anco' did say, "It is my thought to reward the players that start the game against Manchester United and give them more minutes. It is an important game, the last one of pre-season and we want to check our position physically and tactically before the start of the season.
"I think we need to have more time to be fit because we need above all for the players that came back on 26 July it is more difficult to be fit immediately, you have to take your time - a few weeks will be enough to come back to the best condition."
All I hope for tonight, is that we DO NOT see any more silly schoolboy goalkeeping errors!!
