Champions League Draw: It´s Juventus!

Chelsea have drawn Claudio Raneiri´s Juventus in the first round of the knockout phase of the Champions League. This will be the first time that our ex-manager Ranieri has returned to Stamford Bridge for a competitive match in what should be an emotional return.
Ranieri forms a memorable part of our history for the likeable way he conducted himself during his tenure at Chelsea although his time in London was never garnered with silverware.
Chelsea will play the first leg at home on Wednesday 25th February with the return in Turin on Tuesday 10th March.
The rest of the Champions League draw is as follows:
Villarreal v Panathinaikos
Sporting Lisbon v Bayern Munich
Atletico Madrid v Porto
Lyon v Barcelona
Real Madrid v Liverpool
Arsenal v Roma
Inter Milan v Manchester United
Notable matches are obviously Liverpool’s toughish match against Real Madrid and of course, the real flash-point tie between Mourinho´s Inter and Ferguson’s Manchester United.

An interesting and a testing draw!It seems a very tricky one as well as Juventus are really in good form at the moment.Chelsea are good side though but they need to reflect on their over all performance this season as they have been under perfoming at home ground this time.If things are goning like the way they are now with Chelsea please expect the expected whcih is a sad exit too ealy!Hope things will chandge and Chelsea will progress to the next round.come on Chelsea!

It will be a testing match - especially with the away leg in Turin.
The good news is that we should only get better now with players back from injury and a possible additon in January. Scolari also has plenty of time to bed in new systems with the squad.

The draw was undoubtedly not a kind one for Ranieri, but he took solace in the fact that the Premier League side would hardly be relishing an easy tie against the Bianconeri.
"I can't imagine they are happy with the draw either," he said.
"We'll play our game and see what happens. Chelsea are one of the favourites to win the competition. They only lost last season's final on penalties. It will be hard for us, but also very stimulating."
"I don't want revenge on Roman Abramovich because I can only thank him," said Ranieri.
"It was the first time in my career that I could sign expensive players. He used to tell me the only thing he cared about was that the players we signed had to be stronger than the ones we already had. I can't forget my four years at Chelsea. We will see two good games. It will be a fascinating clash. It will be useful for the Italian teams to meet English sides so we can see how we stand up alongside them."

Looking forward to it,Is it true that the ground will be cutting their capacity because of redevelopment.

I heard that their capacity is only at 28,000 at the moment!

I wonder will it favour us because of the small capacity,or will it not because of our allocation.
