Drogba to sign New 4 Year deal

Didier Drogba looks likely to sign a new 4 year deal once the team returns from their pre-season Asia – Russia tour. Scolari has already stated that the Ivorian forward is “100% - no – 200% part of my plans” and Kenyon looks likely to seal Drogba´s future at the Bridge within the next week.

Milan, Barcelona and Inter have all expressed interest in securing Drogba´s signature and despite Milan vice-president Gallini claiming that Chelsea gave him permission to talk to the player, the Rossoneri must have been reluctant or unable to meet a substantial asking price.

Drogba scores the second goal of the match

"I am confident talks with Chelsea will lead to a positive resolve about my future.”

"Chelsea want to speak and I am oat pen to talk.”

"Things have not changed but I am a Blues player.”

"Money is not the main factor and if Chelsea show they want me it is possible to accept a proposition."

Drogba already has two more years remaining on his current contract in any case but it looks as if Chelsea fans can lick their lips in anticipation at a pairing of Anelka and Drogba that Grant didn’t appear to want to use.

Let’s hope that his knee heals once and for all.

After Anelka's pre-season performance Drogba is gonna have to hit the ground running!!!

yes please let him sign, i agree that he will stuggle for a first team spot as anelka has impressed me during pre season, especially against ac milan.. 4 years with drogba, and hopefully with robinho coming to the bridge, this should be emtertaining

And we will sometimes play 2 up front I´m sure.
