Well let’s see if Chelsea fans can have their grin after the Arsenal v Man united result widened a little bit more tomorrow evening? This will be Wycombe’s cup final (again – let’s not forget they’ve already knocked a few decent teams out to get here) and will not be holding back one iota.
Mooney and Easter will the ones to watch.
Mooney, in particular, seems like the sort of bloke handy to have around as a mate if a fight breaks out in a pub and you find yourself walking back to your chair with half a lager and lime and a packet in chesse and onion in your mitts! There’s no doubt
I doubt the side will be changed too much from Saturday’s debacle against the scousers, although hopefully Carvalho is now recovered and our defence will stop its impersonation of a sieve. However, I am expecting a big change in attitude and performance.
Ballack needs to take the bull by the horns and hopefully Mikel will continue to show the promise he’s demonstrated in recent matches. Sheva? Has he been putting in extra training? I’d love to see José go 4-4-2 and go for it.
With a bit of luck, we’ll have a comfortable lead in the 2nd half and the likes of Diarra and Morais will get a run out.
Prediction: 4-0. Shevchenko hat-trick. ;-)
