Tonight the boys are in action again as they take on the might of Scottish Football and Scottish Champions Celtic at Stamford Bridge kick off at 7.45pm, and I promise you faithfully that THERE WILL be updates on the message board.

The game is being shown LIVE on Chelsea TV and that's the main reason why I am not going tonight. Their are other reasons in that after forking out for two season tickets, £40 for seat for a friendly is a bit too much, plus Chelsea have handed over the MH Stand to the Bhoys in Green and White, so therefore I would have been relocated elsewhere in the ground and knowing my luck I would have been sitting next to a load of 'prawn sandwich' eaters wearing top hat and tails or flowing pastel dresses and Royal Ascot hats - OR BOTH!! in either the top tier of the West or East Stands.

Celtic have already started their League campaign. With one win and one defeat they will be coming to the Bridge for a 'battle' and will be wanting to win. Also in for a 'battle', if you believe the stories published in the 'rag' red-tops this week, are the fans. According to one - the fearless Headhunters have re-grouped for 'one last triumph' as Chelsea are associated closely to Celtic's arch rivals Rangers and the same 'rag' red-top claimed that a Celtic supporter said 'I am not paying £40 for a ticket for the privilege of getting my head kicked in.'

If estimates are true then tonight's attendance will struggle to exceed 25,000 and of those only 2,000 fans from Celtic are expected to travel.

Other 'unofficial' Chelsea sites are saying that fans are spending their money on Chelsea's trip to the Millenium Stadium for the Community Shield against Liverpool on Sunday, but on this morning's best broadcasting London breakfast show (you know the one, the one that beats the National breakfast show for listeners in London anyway), Chelsea were advertisting four-per-person on general sale tickets from the box office for Sunday. So doesn't that say alot about pre-match sales that were exclusive to season ticket holders and members.
