Watching Chelsea yesterday was like watching a newly-formed team of U11s running about like headless chickens, unorganised, disjointed, bereft of ideas and lacking the midfield bite and substance that Liverpool's midfield of ten throughout the game offered.

Chelsea were given no space.

The Reds were like little ankle biters, harrying and snapping at every opportunity and Chelsea couldn't cope with it and simply hadn't the guile or intelligence to overcome Liverpool's ferocity and to make matters worse for the Blue faithful, the defence opened up a Christmas gift shop.

I really do not know what goes through Cech's mind at times, temporary nicknamed 'Hannibal Lecter' (sssssssssss Clarice.... Ed) because of the face mask protecting his broken nose.

Playing a short ball out to Mikel at the heart of the holding midfield, to close for him to dally, because Mikel likes dally, before being snapped up by two Reds losing possession allowing Maxi to slot home to give Liverpool the lead.

I mean what is that all about!!! Stop faffing around with the ball and get it cleared.

At least this time thankfully, we didn't see JT falling over like he did when van Persie skated past him!!!

Where was Cole for Liverpool's 2nd? Caught out by a cross field ball allowing Glenn Johnson to steal in to grab Liverpool's late, late winner.

Come to think of it where was Cole all game? He had a stinker.

Liverpool were allowed to storm down his side at will, anytime they liked and if the final ball and finishing was better, the Reds might have equalled or bettered Woolwich's score from a few weeks ago.

Malouda is once again regressing to his form when his first joined Chelsea. He was lazy, not bothered, jogging around no doubt thinking of his FAT paycheck and even if he is credited with the assist for Danny's equaliser, he is lucky, as his contribution was more of a cross than a shot.

JT wasn't his inspirational self and I think he already knows his fate with regard to the QPR allegations.

Didier Drogba, it was his first game from his three match ban and surgery on his arm, didn't look at all interested except for counting his FAT paycheck and Super Frank was made to look anonymous by Liverpool's attacking midfield.

Ivanovic was top of the class, keeping Bellamy and slippery Suarez quiet in an otherwise majorly disappointing performance.

I realise AvB is still learning the ropes, but he is going to have to grasp the Premiership concept (this isn't Portugal or Porto) and come up with something special especially with some really difficult matches on the horizon.

He is going to have to forget Luiz as a centre-back, use Torres with more than seven minutes left (I mean what did he expect Torres to acheive..... score? Possibly yes if luck was on his side, but what luck has he had?), think about bringing in Bertrand at left-back, young Josh in midfield, bring back Alex (subject to injury).

Up front, start with Sturridge with either Torres or Lukaku and give the 'reputations' a right good shake-up and if they do not respond, get rid when the window opens in January!!!

Roberto Mancini and even, yes even Mick McCarthy must be rubbing their hands gleefully in anticipation of three points and if we play Money Citeh (12/12/11) the same way, Aguero, Silva and Villa will have an absolute field day!!!

The defence seems to be habitually out of position and stretched.

All very depressing.

...and I took a bloke who used to go in the 60's who hadn't been to the Bridge for years on Sunday.

Still...its a long season.

Hopefully some changes in January.
