Ancelotti has made some mistakes,and made some wrong decisions this season but his biggest 'mistake' was winning the Double in his first season. This acheivement was always going to be difficult to equal or even eclipse and by that I mean winning the Champions League that Mr A is all obsessed about.

Winning the Champions League means beating the teams that are in front of you, but Chelsea's task is extra difficult as they also have to beat the suits at UEFA.

Ranieri failed, Mourinho failed, Scolari failed (well he just failed), Grant got us there and failed and Hiddink really doesn't count although Chelsea did win the FA Cup in his few months of tenure.

Now it looks like Ancelotti, a nice man, a dignified man and regardless of today's result, is resigned to his fate that he expects to lose his job within the coming week or two or EVEN tomorrow.

I hope Mr A and the board surprise us all by sticking with Carlo allowing him to serve out his third year and getting the luck that is needed to win the 'Holy Grail' that will finally satisfy the cravings of an obsessive Mr Abramovich.

There aren't any fat pink pigs flying over my head as I write, nor did the World end yesterday.

Ancelotti said, "We will arrange a meeting but nothing is decided when this meeting will be, we have to wait for the club.

"I am always optimistic. I have said I want to stay but if this is not possible then I don't have a problem changing my idea.

"If the club decide to change me, then for me it is not a problem. If they feel differently from my opinion you won't see me cry.

"I will be upset with the decision of the club but I will find another solution."
