It was too much of a nice day yesterday to sit behind my PC to write any report of Chelsea's decent win at The Hawthorns on Saturday. A win inspired by the demon possessed Didier Drogba.Too much of a nice day. There is no doubt that at the moment, Drogba is TOP DROG and for Chelsea's remaining fixutres again, there is no doubt that the Drog should be the first name on Ancelotti's teamsheets regardless of how many games Ancelotti has left. 

Chelsea's early dominance was countered when WBA took a shock lead after Odemwingie latched onto a through ball, turned and beat JT for pace before delicately lobbing the advanicing Cech.

Albion's lead didn't last too long. Florent Malouda's shot was only parried by Carson, Shorey turned the ball back into Drogba's path and the big Ivorian gleefully crashed the ball home.

Next in line to benefit from Carson's generousity was Kalou. Carson could only parry a Drogba shot and Kalou was the first to pounce to put Chelsea 2-1.

Right on half-time, Super Frank scored from a Malouda pass after Drogba had won a tackle in Chelsea's half and West Brom were heading for their first defeat of the season.

So easy was Chelsea's domination and WBA's capitulation, you would have been forgiven had you dusted down your abacus' with still another 45 minutes to play.

With Didier being so fired-up, at the start of the second-half he tried to lob Carson from the kick-off.

Fortunately for the maligned goalkeeper, the ball just about ended on top of the goal, rather than in it.

Roy Hodgson's said after watching his team crash to defeat, "As the Swedish so rightly say, no tree grows to heaven. We are a mere birch tree in the middle of West Bromwich and no one will be doing any "Jack in the Beanstalks" here."

Huh?
