Petr Cech, with two wonderful second half saves ensured Chelsea came away from Molineux with all three points and a four point lead at the top of the Premiership. Chelsea's performance wasn't convincing, but at this stage of the season its all about getting the points and with ManUre involved in the Carling Cup Final next weekend, a seven point lead is on the horizon.
Cech can also be credited with two assists. The first in a free flowing move started when Cech rolled the ball out, Zhirkov down the left played a one-two with Ballack before sliding in a low cross for Didier to tap-in from close range.

Chelsea's second, which will probably send the Whinger into moaning hyper mode, came from a Cech drop kick which sailed over the Wolves defence for Didier to run on and round Hahnemann before slamming the ball into an empty net.
Cech's first save came from a Guedioura volley and minutes later he bravely smothered an effort from Foley, the ball ran clear and JT was on the line to clear a Kevin Dole follow-up.
Of the win 'Anco' said, "Tough game, very difficult and what is very important is to win this game after the defeat of Manchester. We had a possibility to improve our table and we did.

"Wolverhampton made a very good game and we didn't play so well but we had good spirit and battled for every ball, I think we deserved to win. Now our table is better but we have to pay attention and there will be a lot of games until the end of the season and nothing is decided."
If you are wondering what the 'Get Well Soon Bulldog' message displayed on t-shirts revealed at the final whistle, 'Anco' explained, "It is our friend and one of our staff who at this moment has a problem and is in hospital. We hope he will come back quickly to our training ground."
Frank Steer aka Bulldog underwent heart bypass surgery during the week.
The injury to Zhirkov which allowed 17 year old Jeffrey Bruma to join in the action was described by 'Anco' as a problem with his calf.
'Anco' said, "Now we have some problems with the full-backs because we have out Ashley Cole and Belletti, but we hope that for the next game (against you know who) Zhirkov can play.
"Zhirkov had a problem on his calf, it is tight and he can recover in two or three days for the next game. Carvalho will be ready for Milan, Lampard also and we hope also Alex."
