Michael Essien scored two and could have had FIVE. Wayne Hennessy had a bad day at the office till he denied Essien his hat-trick. The damage was done. 3-0 inside up 25 minutes and the baying Wolves silenced. Save of the match...... Cechie boy low down to his left from a Ebanks-Blake header. The save equalled a home record of 10 consecutive clean sheets set way back in 1927.

Don't remember that... aint that old, but I can remember the last time Chelsea went 12 consecutive wins at the Bridge... can you?

4-0 up with thirty minutes to go.... Boss 'Anco' delivered us Gael Kakuta from the subs bench and my God didn't he nearly deliver.

His touch on Chelsea's right took Wolves completely by surprise.. his low shot was just dragged by Hennessy's near post. Minutes later Gael hit one past Hennessy's right hand post from Chelsea's left.

Left to right, right to left Kakuta was all over the place.

There is no doubt Gael is one star in the making and I have eluded the boy for two years.. Fabio Borini and Nemanja Matic both came on from the bench as promised by the 'Boss' and they didn't disgrace themselves.

Seriously Chelsea could have scored EIGHT or more, the 3,000 baying Wolves who travelled down and fair play to them decided attack the home 'prawnies' with '4 nil and you still won't sing' and the obvious, 'Where were you when you were sh*t?' but at 3-0 up after 23 minutes, what else can you do?

So we are off to Porto on Wednesday in the Champions League and then next Sunday we are back at Corporate City (4-1 last season) to play the injury plagued Goonerville and we will have Dids, Super Frank, Michael Ballack and cough cough Deco back, and at full strength. Let's hope the 'Whinger' can call on the same!!

I couldnt agree more, the whole team put on a complete show of the highest quality everybody got a nine out of ten in my book.

Gael Kakuta is such an exciting player with bundles of potential im sure he will get more games this season.

Borini and Matic didn't look out of place also, who says we don't play our kids.
