Big Phil Scolari´s spokesman claims that the decision to sack his client was taken by Roman Abramovich despite the support of Peter Kenyon that the Brazilian continue in his post. This is the second time Chelsea’s Russian supremo has stepped in over the head of the chief executive with José Mourinho being the first victim.
"It seems that Abramovich made the decision," said Acaz Fellegger representing Scolari.
"He (Scolari) was not in a comfortable situation despite having the support of the squad and Peter Kenyon.
Lack of support in transfers
"The Chelsea squad are old. Felipe tried to rejuvenate it, but unsuccessfully. "He asked (the board) to sign Deco and Robinho, but they only brought Deco."
Language barrier
"The English language has never been an issue for him as he has given many interviews in English,"
Scolari to respond
It also appears that Scolari will not leave things unsaid.Despite wishing the club luck in the future it may be possible that Big Phil may speak out – presumably about the fact that he was given to undertake a project of changing the style of football with little support from the board to do so.
"I wish luck to Chelsea in the three competitions they are involved in," he said.
"I also take this opportunity to confirm that I will keep living in London and I will respond to the media soon."
Stupid Abramovich!
Also I will never forget the fact that PETER KENYON THE TRAITOR has followed into the determination of DENYING Chelsea the 2007 Champions League Title AND ANY TITLE ON THAT SEASON by denying JM one central defender.
I am in shock at the sacking of Scolari. He should have been at least left in the job until the seasons end.
Does Abromovitch believe that the team will be better off now. I can really see a mass requests for a transfer out of the club I love. I know that there seems to be a problem within the team. Some players are only there to make big money it seems and not put in 100 effort.
Scolari was not given hardly any money to change the mindset of the club. A lot of the problems are with the management team aka Kenyon and the rest of the board. I read that there had been enquiries about buying the club. Please Mr Abromovitch sell the club if you can't have patience.
Give the next manager a four year deal and stick to it right through the four years. But most of all listen to your manager and give him what he needs to get things right, especially money to buy three or four new and good professonals.
According to Steve Curry on SSN this morning he said Kenyon wasn't even there when Abramovich, Buck and Tenenbaum ALL went to the training ground to sack Scolari.
Arrived unannounced by helicopter at Cobham - although Kenyon was patched in by phone to the meeting (whilst sipping pina coladas on a beach in Barbados apparently!).

"It is born out of hypocrisy and fundamental insecurity. There have been two kids on the block for the past 12 years. Suddenly, there is a third and that one is threatening to be more successful than the others and they don’t like it." P Kenyon.
