January 1st proved to be an extremely quiet first day of the transfer window, but today it has all kicked off around the perimeters of Cobham and Stamford Bridge. Man Citeh and Chelsea have agreed terms for the transfer of left-back Wayne Bridge to Eastlands, all that needs to be agreed, subject to a medical, is Wayne's personal terms.

With Citeh having all the money in the World - Wayne should hold them to ransom and get as much money as he can out of them.

And why not, players signing for Chelsea in recent years have done IT!!!

Go for it Wayne and good luck you will be welcomed back at Stamford Bridge anytime.

Michael Mancienne who has been on loan to Championship leaders Wolves has been recalled back to Stamford Bridge.

This move can only mean one thing - with Wayne on is way to Eastlands - Michael will be in the squad to face League One Southend United at Stamford Bridge tomorrow in the FA Cup 3rd Round.

Quite right too.

Michael has received rave reviews in his time at Molineux not only from manager Mick McCarthy but from the fans too.

Will Michael's departure affect the Wolves campaign for promotion and WILL Michael play for Chelsea on his return or slung back into the reserves?

Next on the Stamford Bridge merry-go-round on day two of the transfer window.

Jack Cork, the son of Wimbledon legend Alan Cork, has moved from Southampton where he has been on loan all season, to join Watford on loan re-joining ex-reserve boss Brendan Rodgers and on loan Chelsea team-mate Liam Bridcutt.

means he doesnt want to stand in any players way if they want to leave...... having said that he wants to get rid of the players that are ****

He´s basically sending a message out to any possible buying clubs - if you want our players then fine, but put your money and more where your mouth is and offer BIG money. Can´t blame us really after all the years we were ripped off.

Doesn´t mean that ALL our players would consider moving.

I think it´s just another way of trying to clam down media and agent speculations.
