The Chelsea Ladies' fortunes seem to be going from bad to worse since my last update on this site.

Shaun Gore is still in charge in a caretaker capacity and in their last seven matches, the girls have tasted defeat five times and are currently second from bottom in the table with nine points from fourteen games.

At Borehamwood FC yesterday afternoon, the girls were soundly beaten by Arsenal Ladies 6-0 and before twenty minutes were on the clock, the girls were 4-0 down with goals from Kelly Smith netting two, Julie Fleeting and Rachel McArthur scoring the others.

The second half wasn't as bad although the unlucky but erotically named Nicki De La Salle was credited with an own goal and eight minutes from time, Arsenal scored their sixth through Lianne Sanderson.

Next up are the Ladies of Sunderland on Sunday 11th December at Hampton and Richmond FC, kick off 2pm.
