It's That Toe!

Theere is no doubt. Pools v Exeter City is the biggest game in the club's history. And if things don't go our away next week Carlisle v Pools will be even bigger ...

Staying in the football league is simply a must and the good news is that our destiny is in our hands.

If we beat Exeter and Chelenham and Tranmere lose against more tricky oposition we will be safe. If there is another set of results we will have to go to Carlisle and win there. 2,000 have already bought tickets for that one.

First things first. David Mirfin is still doubtful with his bruised toe, but he's the only injury vioctim so it's down to Ronnie Moore to use his expereince to get a team out there which will be set up to fo the job.

Once he's done that he will have to get the best out of every individual.

If we had a team of triers like Scott Harrison we wouldn't be in the position we are in now, but we do have players who can be class for one half and non-existrent for the next. It's their jobs, their careers and their reputations at stake  so let's have 90  plus minutes out of every one of them.

The Grecians make their longest trip of the season witn an noutside chance of the play-offs but they can't be too confident.

They've losit their last three games and have injury issues with Christian Ribeiro  rated as 50/50 with a dead leg, Lee Holmes with a calf strain and a trio with hamstring injuries in Craig Woodman, David Noble and Tom McCready.
