Small Mercies

One In The Eye

The way things are going an away point is more than a small mercy. It should be a lot better than scoring a goal and losing but is it ?

Right now we'd probably settle for scoring one against Bradford City on Tuesday and conceding a couple. We need that monkey off our backs - we are now the ONLY club not to score a league goal.

At Torquay it sounds like it was a lucky point. They had most of the chances, and by all accounts fought harder hence the nasty gash to Steve Howard's eye which looks loke keeping him out of the Bradford game.

The worrying thing is that we didn't create many chances or get many balls into the danger area. There are now two home games coming up and we need to play the way we did in the first half against Fleetwood.

If we do surely we'll get a goal .... or even two!!
