Walsall Slip Up

Hartlepool title push recieved a huge boost this afternoon as Walsall went down 1-0 to Bury. The result means Pools are 3 points clear with only 2 games left

Maybe someone up there is smilling on Pools this season. After drawing with County last night it seemed almost certain that Walsall would regain top spot when the faced Bury at the Bescot Stadium.

The result which followed though was far from expected. Bury actually won 1-0. A result which mean Pools need 4 points from the last 2 games to become league champions. It also mean that is Pools better Walsall's result next week the title will be coming to the Vic.

The title is far from guarenteed and with Walsall also having a +3 goal difference over Pools we cant afford to drop any points.
