Hartlepool are returning to League 1 at the first attempt.

It has been secured - a Ritchie Barker goal was enough to make sure that Pools achieved promotion and maintained top of the table.

Well done to everyone at Pools. Back in November it seemed impossible, we were 16th in the League and appeared to be going nowhere. A great effort since the game at Stanley
