Gavin Strachan will join Peterborough on a months loan after struggling to get a place in the Pools starting XI this season

Hartlepool fan favourite Gavin Strachan will move to Peterborough on a months loan starting on the 1st of January.

So far this season Strachan has struggled to tie down a place in the starting XI and he will be hoping to get a few games under his belt at London Road.

"It's a good opportunity for Gavin," explained boss Danny Wilson.
