Monkhouse is staying

Andy Monkhouse will be staying with Pools after a loan extension has been agreed beween Hartlepool and Swindon

Hartlepool have extended the loan of Andy Monkhouse from Swindon. It was thought that he would be returning to Swindon after the victory over Bury but it now appears he will be staying.

"He's done very well for us since he's been here so we're delighted he's staying," Danny Wilson

Wilson was very keen on keeping the left winger, who has appeared in the last 5 wins and is yet to lose a game in a Pools shirt
