A game a lot of Pools fans will be looking forward to. Hartlepool United v Martin Scott. The main focus of the game is to get the 3 points which will keep Pools in the playoff places come boxing day

Hartlepool travel to Bury with several insentives to win. The main insentive being confirming playoff status going towards the new year. And the one the majority of the fans care about - sticking one over on Martin Scott.

Scotty was the manager for about 7 months and took the club from, Neale Coopers playoff heros to relegation. He was tacticalls inept and didn't seem to have a clue about running a football team.

Hartlepool's defense havent conceded any goals in 5 games. The solid defense has been the base for the victories.

Bury started the season in terrible form and were sitting towards the bottom of the table. Despite their start they have picked up their performances and are now 9th in the League.

One player who will be out to beat Bury will be one Micky Nelson. Pools signed the superstar defender from Lancashire outfit. Pools fans may remember a Friday night game back in 2003 when Micky Nelson kept a Pools attack of Boyd and E Williams at bay practically all by himself.

Hartlepool are without Porter and Tinkler but Proctor and Brown are back training, too soon if you ask me, but Andy Monkhouse will be making his last game for the club.
