James Brown has been criticised by several Pools fans this season after he has failed to impress after a great pre-season. After his goal on Saturday he is ready to prove that he is ready for this mans world

James Brown has told Danny Wilson to call off the search for a striker and that he is capable off becoming Pools hit man this season. Brown is ready to show he is ready for this 'mans world'.

James Brown scored Pools' decisive goal on Saturday but the fans who travelled to Spotland will confirm that he was less than average for over 80 minutes of the game.

Hartlepool have recently been linked with Mansfield hit man Ritchie Barker who has scored 9 goals for the Stags this season. But it now seems the transfer is dead after Mansfield stuck a not for sale banner on him.
