Porter out for 2 months

Hartlepool are without Joel Porter for at least 2 months after the striker had key hole surgery on his knee.

Joel Porter will be out for 2 months after undergoing surgery on his knee. Porter limped off in the 5th minute of Pools' JPT Trophy game against Doncaster Rovers and will not be back til at least New Year.

As most Pools fans will be a able to recall Porter only played a handfull of games towards the end of last season after missing most of the campaigne through injury.

Danny Wilson has told the Hartlepool Mail that he will be looking to make another loan striker until the transfer window opens in January.
