Appeal over red card

Hartlepool have launched an appeal to the FA after Jon Daly was sent off in Hartlepool's defeat to Chester. If the appeal is unsuccessful then he will miss the Darlington game on Saturday

From the moment it happened Wilson was furious with the decision saying in was ""He's conned the referee and I've never known a player do that to a fellow professional - it's a disgrace."

Hartlepool have viewed the video footage and with help from Tyne Tees Television have had it imorived and the evidance has been sent away.

Pools will have to wait and see what the FA's judgment is and if the appeal is ignored then Daly could face a 3 match ban for violent conduct
