Ali Gibb joins Pools

After months of speculation Ali Gibb has finally joined Hartlepool. The 30 year old, right winger has been a long term target of Wisons and he is delighted to bring him to the club

Danny Wilson made a last day swoop into the transfer market and has brought in Bristol Rovers midfielder winger Ali Gibb. Pools have been strongly linked with Gibb and were thought to have agreed a deal with Gibb last month but Gibb couldn't agree on personal terms.

Danny Wilson told the official website "He's a terrific professional and he will help to raise the standards in the squad; he's tenacious and energetic and I am sure the fans will take to him in no time at all."

Danny Wilson made it no secret that he was after another centre forward but has been unsuccessful in his bid to sign Danny Graham on loan
