Monkhouse gets first goal

A goal by Andy Monkouse (his first for Pools) was enought to seal the win against Notts County and see Pools move within 2 points of the playoff places

Hartlepool have moved within 2 points of the playoff thanks to a close fought win over Notts County. The all important goal came on 8 minutes when Monkhouse got the vital touch from a corner.

Monkhouse joined the club two weeks ago and has been quite impressive in the two games he has played. So far the two loaned players have scored 3 goals between them helping move Pools up to 9th place in League 2
