Williams Injury Blow

Darren Williams is expected to be out for up to 4 weeks after picking up a calf injury Friday nights game against Lincoln City. Micky Barron is expected to replace Williams against Stockport on Saturday

Darren Williams is expected to be out for up to 4 weeks after picking up a claf injury in the Lincoln City game on friday night.

Darren Williams was one of the first players to hand in a transfer request after last seasons relegation but so far this season he has played out of his skin and has won a great deal of respect from the Hartlepool faithful.

Wilson admitted that: "It is a real disappointment because he has been very solid in every game for us this season.

Micky Barron is expected to step into the roll after he replaced Williams on Friday night. If he does start against Stockport on saturday it will be his first start sincce his testimonial
