Midfielder : Albert Jarrett

Albert Jarrett joined the Imps in the summer of 2010 following his released from Barnet. Despite being a near ever present for the Bees, Jarrett had been released after his one and only year at Underhill. Due to two decent performances against the Imps, he was signed up on a 12 month deal by Chris Sutton.

Signed from : Barnet

Debut : Rotherham 2 Lincoln City 1 - 7th August 2010

Last Game : Lincoln City 1 Port Vale 0 - 29th January 2011

Jarrett has surprisingly been around the Football League for quite some time. Having played for the old Wimbledon in the 2003/4 season, he joined Brighton and Hove Albion in 2004 and stayed there for two years, spending spells on loan at Stevenage and Swindon in the process. He signed for Watford in 2006 and spent loan spells at Boston and MK Dons, making him one of the few players to play for both Wimbledon and the MK Dons.

He failed to secure a permanent deal at either one of those loan clubs and was released, signing up for Gillingham. Again he struggled to hold down a first team place before being released after just 16 appearances. He did finally find regular first team football at Barnet, making 45 appears during the 2009/10 season.

Two of those appearances came against Lincoln and he was Barnet's best player on both of those occasions, including setting up Barnet's equaliser in the fixture at Underhill. Despite the regular appearances, Barnet released Jarrett and Chris Sutton quickly snapped him up for the Imps.

It quickly became evident why Jarrett was seemingly unable to stay at the club and a poor attitude on the pitch saw him fall out of favour after Sutton left and Tilson was appointed. He had started the season with fans desperate for him to be given a longer contract, he was instead released with half of his contract left to run.
