Reaction to Owain Warlow's 2007/8
By Nathan Jackson May 22 2008
Owain Warlow started the season as a semi-regular and ended up making a respectable 21 first team appearances during the 2007/8 season. The Welshman again frustrated though and there were many times where his effort could be called into question, but there was the odd flash of skill on show.

I wasn't overly impressed with Owain in the 2006/7 season where he started emerging into the first season, 2007/8 wasn't much different. I still feel that Owain Warlow isn't good enough for first team football in the Football League. He is often seen just casually jogging around the pitch with virtually no seeming interest in making a contribution.

Owain has shown very brief flashes of quality. He almost scored from a free kick against Notts County and also played a pivotal part in the victory over Stockport, but two good moments isn't really good enough.

I feel that Owain's days at the club won't last much longer.

I hear Caersws & Portmadog are looking for a winger, perhaps that is his natural level? ....... and Beevers too, if he doesn't buck his ideas up!

I'd be happy with a swap deal for Porthmadog's Carl Owen. I went to watch a friendly at their place vs Chester once and he scored 4 goals!
