Ryan Amoo was released not so long ago and it was one of the least surprising events since the season ended. Amoo hardly featured under Jackson due to varying reasons, mainly him getting a bit injury prone and that has seriously harmed his chances of getting back into the team.

Ryan Amoo was one of the unsung heroes of the early part of 2006/7. He was instrumental in most of our goals and it appeared as though Schofield and Deehan had found a decent player. However, his form seriously dipped and whilst the effort remained the same, his performances went completely out of the window. 2007/8 wasn't much different and it's hard to pick out anything he did other than scoring against Morecambe.
Amoo is one of those players that will always give you 100% but unfortunately isn't good enough over a long enough spell to stay in the Football League, a bit like Dave Cameron used to be.
I'd be surprised if he got another League club and his injury proneness during the 2007/8 season certainly won't help his cause. I think the only clubs that might look at him are the tinpot outfits of this league, teams like Dagenham, Accrington and Chester.
