City made it 4 wins in a row with a 3-0 win at Accrington Stanley, but the storeline might mislead you into thinking that Lincoln were easily the best team in this game. City moved up to 16th with the victory and are now within touching distance of an unlikely stab at the playoffs, but performances will seriously have to improve despite a decent month so far.

City kicked off the game and City won an early free kick but failed to take the chance. Alan Marriott claimed a corner before Freck hit a free kick straight at the wall. A throw on the 6th minute saw LJL do well to keep the ball in play and his ball across the box left Mark Stallard with an easy chance and he made it 1-0 with a simple tap in.

Paul Mullin hit an Andy Todd centre wide before Craney hit a free kick straight at Marriott. Craney wasted another chance before Hone cleared a Thomas chance. Dodds cleared a Accrington chance before Forrester failed just to get to Freck's ball. Harris was booked for the hosts before Freck hit a chance at Dunbavin.

Dodds hit the ball over the bar before Beevers' saw a header at the backpost claimed by Dunbavin. Craney dragged another free kick wide before Marriott prevented Todd from getting through. LJL failed to get to a Kerr ball before an injury to Stallard saw his shirt replaced with Warlow's Number 20.

Whalley's effort was saved well from Marriott before his 25 yard effort cannoned back of the cross bar just seconds before the half-time whistle.

Stallard failed to capitalise on a Kerr ball before a mistake from Dunbavin saw his miskick the ball straight to Forrester. The striker was tussling with a defender as he scuffed his shot wide of an open goal. A good save from Marriott saw him deny Todd before Frecklington was injured thanks to a foul from Proctor. He had to be carried off of the pitch by Kerr and Michael Wait before Clarke took his place. Wright replaced Forrester for the Imps and he almost instantly dragged a shot wide.

Moments later and his capitalised on a Marriott clearance when Stallard played the ball across the box and Wright smashed home from close range. Craney curled an effort wide before City made it 3 from Beevers podded home from a few yards following a corner to complete a brilliant performance from the defender.

Dodds hit an effort straight at Dunbavin before Stallard was replaced by Brown. Marriott kept his clean sheet intact thanks to a good save from Mullin's effort. Neither side created anymore decent chances and the Imps won 3-0.
