City's record of not getting a single point after going behind this season continued dispite a spirited display. First and last minute goals sealed City's fate against a poor Bradford side. The game was mainly controlled by City who were unlucky not to walk away with all 3 points, but instead the Imps left with nothing but a few new injuries to deal with and a reduced gap to the relegation zone.

City started the game but it was Bradford who seized the initiative after Frecklington wasted possession and Colbeck's cross was converted by Thorne to give City a nightmare start. It was a bad omen for the Imps who hadn't come from behind to gain any form of points since the Darlington away match last season.

However, the Imps responded well with N'Guessan sending a cross deep into the box. Unfortunately N'Guessan injured himself and was substituted with Mark Stallard coming onto the pitch. Lincoln won a free kick just on the edge of the area but Green sent it over the bar. Wright had a goal disallowed for offside for the Imps but it was a positive responce from the Imps.

Mark Stallard almost brilliantly equalised for City when his curling shot from 25 yards was well saved by Ricketts following good work from John-Lewis. Ricketts easily caught a Frecklington corner. Ricketts again produced a fine save, this time from the head of Wright following a Freck cross.

Lincoln were dominated the game but almost conceded a second from a rare Bradford attack, this time Thorne wasted a chance from 6 yards, blazing it miles over the bar before Daley was injured and had to have lengthy treatment.

John-Lewis headed a Croft cross straight at Rickeets before a Kerr challenge saw Nix go down in a heap, this sparked outrage from Bradford players with Paul Evans trying to get a reaction from Kerr. Both were booked.

Beevers headed a Lincoln corner over before the referee blew for half time. It was a frustrating half for the Imps as they couldn't find the break through despite dominating the game.

The second half started much the same way with Stallard forcing Ricketts into another save but Ricketts was powerless to stop John-Lewis belting home a Croft cross as the ball bounced against the bar twice before settling in the net. It was no more than the Imps deserved after being the only team in the game up until that point.

Frecklington was the next to go off as he was replaced by Hand and this was quickly followed by Croft being replaced by Brown, with Rhodes replacing Ndumbu-Nsungu for the hosts in between. Bradford wasted a quick free kick by smashing it straight againgst the wall.

A burst forward saw Paul Green produce a brilliant tackle to deny Daley a shot on goal...and given that it was at Smith's near post it was guaranteed to go in if he had got the shot in.

Hand was booked for fouling Daley. Stallard headed a Green cross at Ricketts before Kerr tried his luck from distances against his former employers, with the goalkeeper easily saving.

So after a good performance from the Imps and about as one-sided a game as you're likely to get in League 2...Bradford went and scored an undeserved equaliser as Daley burst forward and Conlon shot, Smith making a complete hash of it (there's a surprise) and it was 2-1 Bradford with effectively only their second decent chance of the game.

Stallard was booked but that was the final noteworthy action of a game that City had dominated but failed to take anything out of.
