Yeovil Town's second choice goalkeeper Richard Martin has been released from his contract with the Glovers in order to head off to Puerto Rico's North American Soccer League.
Martin was re-signed earlier in the season after originally being released in the summer, although he failed to make an appearance in his second spell with the club.
His contract has been torn up to allow him to go and play for Puerto Rico Islanders, which is certainly a different climate to Somerset!
With Stephen Henderson now the only recognised goalkeeper Yeovil will have to find a replacement, and they have handed West Ham United youth player Sam Cowler a week's trial and he has started that week's trial today (Monday).
The best of luck to Richard Martin in Puerto Rico!
