Wotton Glad Barron Spell is Over

Midfielder Paul Wotton has spoken of the relief after netting the Glovers winning goal last Saturday against Brentford. 

Speaking to BBC Radio Somerset Wotton spoke of his delight: 

"Going from being a fairly regular scorer, to not scoring in God knows how long - nearly three years or something - it was a lovely feeling. One of the young lads even came up to me and said "Where did you get that from?" - that was cheeky! It was a tough old game, and did we play that well? Not really, but who cares?" 

The youngster mentioned by Wotton was Billy Gibson, and manager Terry Skiverton also spoke of the youngsters tongue in cheek comment: 

"the funny thing was that Billy Gibson asked "Where did that (the free kick) come from?" and Paul Wotton said "I've got a DVD full of them, son, so don't you worry about that!" And some of them were in the Championship as well. But it was a great strike."
