On deadline day for loans manager Terry Skiverton has brought in defender Tom Parkes from Championship outfit Leicester City. 

The eighteen year old is yet to make a first team appearance for the Foxes, with the nearest thing to a debut coming as a unused substitute in his sides FA Cup match last season. 

Despite having no first team experience at the Walkers stadium, Parkes spent the second half of last season on-loan at League Two side Burton Albion, making a total of twenty two appearances scoring the once for the Brewers. 

His loan move to Huish Park sees him stay in Somerset until early January, as well being given permission to play in the Glovers FA Cup second round match at Hartlepool United this Saturday. Parkes will definitely be in the match day squad, and Skiverton has previously hinted that he may go straight into the starting eleven, given Yeovil's recently poor defensive record. 

Despite his relative inexperience, Tom has captained the Leicester City Under-18s as well as earning twenty caps with the England under 18s, scoring one goal in the process.
