Yeovil Town manager Terry Skiverton deliberately made no substitutions in his sides FA Cup clash with Rushden & Diamonds. 

After his side lost 3-2 at MK Dons last Tuesday Skiverton made a point of the players having to take responsibility for their performances, and the manager enforced that statement in the game versus Diamonds.

"Jonesy was calling over for us to make a substitute to waste time, but I wanted to make a statement to the players that I'm not always here to change it and always keep making substitutions. They've got to take responsibility and I left them to take responsibility to see the game out. They did that and I couldn't be happier for them." 

The Glovers have been marred by inconsistency this season, something Skiverton hopes they can correct:

"This is just the start of things. I wasn't happy with the way things were going of win one, lose one, draw one - you're never going to go anywhere. We need to go on a run. We need to be positive and we need positive people around us. That's what I'm looking to do and it starts now with a real big important game against Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday."
