On-loan goalkeeper John Sullivan has been given permission to play in Yeovil Town's FA Cup First Round tie at Rushden & Diamonds. 

Sullivan is currently one of 6 loan players, and is the first to have been given to permission to play at Nene Park this Saturday. 

Fellow loan goalkeeper Stephen Henderson would have played his last game for the Glovers against MK Dons, but a head injury ruled him out of the game against the Dons and is likely to return to Bristol City tomorrow (Wednesday).

Henderson's head injury forced goalkeeper coach Ben Roberts to don the gloves for the second half of the game against Swindon Town. Speaking of the return to fitness of Sullivan, Roberts said:

"John Sullivan is fully fit. John Sullivan has been fully fit for around two-and-a-half weeks now. He has trained really really well. He worked incredibly hard when he was out injured and he's been excellent. So he's chomping at the bit to play, if needed. The reason why can't sit on the bench when Hendo is here is the five loan rule. He sat on the bench at Brighton when we had a loanee, in Shaun MacDonald, out injured. It's just the way that we've got to work it around with the small squad." 

Yeovil will be hoping fellow loanees Gavin Williams, Owain Tudur Jones, Luke Freeman and Shaun MacDonald are also given permission to play against Rushden, as they aim to help Yeovil win a first cup match under Skiverton.
