The FA Cup First Round has been made today with League One being the highest division currently involved.

Number 48, the Glovers, have drawn Rushden & Diamonds.

The game will take place on either the 6th or 7th of November at Nene Park.

Terry Skiverton is yet to win a Cup competition with Yeovil crashing out of the FA Cup last year at the hands of then Blue Square Premier leaders Oxford United.

Yeovil are already out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy after losing to Exeter City 3-1 at Huish Park earlier this season.

In fact, the FA Cup is the only competition the Green and Whites are still in after crashing out of the Carling Cup again at home to Crystal Palace.

Rushden & Diamonds are currently 6th in the Blue Square Premier and will be hoping to gain promotion back into the football league.

Interestingly Rushden have striker Rene Howe on-loan from Peterborough United, a player who Yeovil once looked to attain.
