International In Our Midst!

Yeovil Town's on-loan midfielder Shaun MacDonald has made his international debut for Wales.

The 22-year-old came off the bench on the 88th minute in Wales' European 2010 Qualifier against Switzerland. 

Unfortunately, Wales lost the game 4-1, but I'm sure it will remain a game that Shaun thinks of fondly, and will see as the start of his international career.

MacDonald has the Welsh record for number of appearances for the Under-21 side, mostly under Brian Flynn who is now caretaker manager of the full Welsh side.

Shaun will now be hoping to make earn his second Welsh cap against England, when the two sides meet in the European Qualification stages. 

Congratulations to Shaun and here is to the start of a long and successful international career.
