Terry Skiverton has told BBC Somerset how he may take off JP Kalala in the future if he feels the Congolese player is in danger of getting sent off.
Kalala was sent off for a second bookable offence in Saturday's clash with Bristol Rovers, and Skiverton admits he may have to substitute the combative midfielder:
"He knows now that when it comes to those sort of situations and he carries on doing it then we'll bring him off. If someone is stupid enough to consistently get booked or sent off, then you've got to look at other alternatives. I don't want to bring him off every time he gets booked, but if that's a way of saving our team, then so be it."
Kalala will now serve a one-match ban, ruling him out for Saturday's meeting with Hartlepool United, but Luke Freeman has being diagnosed with bad bruising, and may even feature in the match, something previously out of the question.
