Player attributes

Pedro made his debut in November 1999. He became a regular on the left wing, and despite our relegation, showed he can produce the goods in division 1.

2000/2001, saw Pedro joined by another Spaniard on the left flank, Zigor Aranalde. They struck up a good understanding and created a lot of chances for forwards. Pedro also weighed in with a number of goals, including a Hat-Trick against Wycombe Wanderers.  He was one of the most feared wide men in the second division, prompting Lawrie Sanchez to single him out as our danger man in the play off final.

He found 01/02 hard going, but still retained his position out on the left flank, he was a victim of Graydons system changes, often relegated to the bench. When Colin Lee came in, and played 4-4-2 Pedro got his place back, but was far from  spectacular.

02/03 was very disappointing for Pedro. He struggled with injuries, but when fit put in some outstanding performances. When things weren't going well towards the end of the season, the fans called for him to be included, but the calls fell on deaf ears and he was restricted to cameo's from the bench.

Hopefully, with a smaller squad Pedro will be given more of a chance in 03/04. He is in the final year of his contract, and has a lot to prove.

Player attributes
What he lacks in pace he makes up for with sheer ability on the ball. He has an intelligent footballing brain, and is one of the most creative players in the squad.  His deliveries in to the penalty area are as good as any ones, and he is very good in the air for a foreign player.
