First CCFC Victory On English Soil Since March 1!

A Mo Konjic goal on the hour gave CCFC victory over Mansfield in their last away pre-season friendly of the summer. Former Bradford midfielder Claus Jorgensen was on the bench for CCFC, and, with said player having scored more goals than CCFC's entire midfield last summer, would be a worthy signing. Most of the 11 that started last night for CCFC are expected to start against Watford on August 9th (Partly due to an extensive injury list - already!!), and a significant improvement will need to be made if CCFC want to start the season with a victory. Gary McSheffrey, who the club were looking to release, gave a display that might just force a re-think, and created the chance for Mighty Mo that gave CCFC the win. CCFC missed a couple of late chances, with Davenport hitting the bar.
