The team continue to perform above most peoples expectations (Averaging two points a game), Callum Wilson has signed on the dotted line, and Tim Fisher seems to have disappeared (Through choice? Or instructed to do so?!). Happy days!

If it wasn't for the fact it's still a 70-mile round-trip to watch Coventry City play at 'home', and that the club are still in financial difficulties, this would be as good as it has been for Coventry City fans for a fair while!

It seems Joy Seppala and Ann Lucas might finally get round the table and talk too, though I fully expect them to argue over the shape of the table, with one wanting round, the other wanting square....

Short of a massive lottery win, supporters have little say in where the club will play in the near or distant future, so we might as well appreciate what's happeningon the pitch, and let others decide if we can have our ground back.

With that in mind, Mr. Stephen Pressley, and the team that SISU built (Okay, SISU left  Mr. Pressley with), I salute you!And to think I wasn't particularly convinced by his appointment towards the end of last season.

The team don't seem to be doing to badly without the 'Bomb Squad', do they? Remember when they were told they could leave? Supporters moaned the team were doomed because most of the experience was leaving? Interested to know, how are they all doing?

The class of 2013/14 have recentlyended Orient's unbeaten run, won away at high-flying Walsall,took a point away to Wolves, and even failed to slip up on the usual banana-skin that would have been low-flying Notts County at home.

The result is that the play-offs are in sight. Who'd have thought it a day before the season started?! All that, and we're getting a new club shop too.

The down-side of such a run is that scouts will be flocking to watch the talent responsible for the surge up the table, while teams looking to dump managers will be looking in the direction of Steven Pressley, who has seemingly improved every aspect of the football side of the club.

Should November and December carry on as the last month or so has, the club are going to have a real job fending off the advances of better placed teams when the transfer window opens.

I can't help thinking that, should SISU/Otium/whoever resist all offers for those that are currently doing the club proud, some sort of truce should be called between ALL warring parties.

If the English and the Germans could manage it Christmas 1914 during the war, perhaps some 99 years later all sides of the Coventry City conflict could manage it? It's at the top of my list to Santa....
