A former footballer, who stopped off briefly at Coventry City, has given his opinion on something fairly irrelevant to him.

Peter Shilton has backed Stuart Pearce's decision not to select David Beckham as a (Massively) over-aged player for this summer's Olympics. Shilton has also been over-looked.

In one of the summers' more blinding obvious statements, Shilton said something about Beckham not being as good as he once was.

Next week PS will be giving his opinion on the Syria crisis, and whether or not the recent flash-floods were cause by global warming, plus solving some unsolved murders....

agree, sour grapes on shilton's behalf. He should concentrate on getting another contract with Forest (Sm6)
