Mifsud Leaves

Michael 'Mosquito' Mifsud has finally - thankfully! - left Coventry City, for Barnsley, despite apparent interest from other Championship sides, and La Liga.

His loan move to Barnsley until the end of season effectively ends his time with Coventry City, barring some sort of miracle whereby he realises the grass isn't greener, apologises for his recent conduct, and agrees to a salary more reflective of his limited ability.

In an interview with Barnsley FC's official website, Mifsud seems to believe the signing of Bogdanovic was a ploy to persuade him to join the club (He really is quite full of himself, isn't he?), though doing so would probably be a cheaper option than raising his wages from the rumoured £8k a week he is on now, to the rumoured £20k per week salary the deluded idiot was apparently seeking.

Reports suggest Mifsud might not be available for Barnsley's next fixture, as he seems to have disappeared up his own backside....
