Fans favourite Adam Virgo will be celebrating his 250th game in senior football this Saturday at Huish Park.

The ex-Celtic man has made a big impression since joining the Green and Whites, showing his ability at both ends of the pitch.

His solid defensive displays coupled with his four goals this season, making him Yeovil's second top scorer, have helped him become one of Yeovil's star performers this season.

The 27-year-old began his playing career at Brighton, making his debut back in 2001, before earning a big money move to Scottish giants Celtic.

Virgo is one of a number of experienced players in the Yeovil side, with three players playing more senior games than the defender, coming in the form of Nathan Jones (538 games), Gavin Williams (388 games) and Andy Welsh (255 games).

The Glovers will be hoping to call on Virgo's ability to effect the game at both ends this Saturday, as they take on Dagenham & Redbridge at Huish Park.
